Central Regions Livestock Professional Association (CERELPA) implemented the Contagious Caprine Pleuro Pneumonia (CCPP) vaccination campaign in Hiraan, M.Shabelle, Galgaduud, and Mudug regions of Somalia funded by The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) from 24th December 2019 to 2nd April 2020.

The objective of this intervention is is to protect their remaining livestock assets through vaccination of goats against CCPP. This intervention will assist vulnerable households to preserve their livelihood assets as the poor and vulnerable households keep mainly goats especially in the current the cold windy season

Approximately 4 million heads of goats owned by vulnerable herders received CCPP vaccination.
